Domain Registry of America Still Scamming
Domain Registry of America is still at it. Trying to trick the unsuspecting into transferring domain name registrations to their service at HIGHLY INFLATED PRICES.
Although forced to change their tactics somewhat, Domain Registry of America letter posts a "Domain Name Expiration Notice" right at the top of their letter, to make it appear that your domain name expiration is imminent.
Take a good look at the image with the flag. If an envelope arrives in the mail, trash it... Unless you want to pay 3 times the rate our services cost! Once you sign over, it's a done deal and very time consuming to reverse. (time x $ will get very expensive).

FTC - Court Bars Canadian Company...
This is not the only domain name slamming company. There are many others, though we haven't yet been accosted by them.
If you receive ANY correspondance that does not come from us that appears to be URGENT, it is most likely a domain name slammer.
